Open Arms St. Paul Building Branding

Rebrand / Environmental / Signage

Client: Open Arms
Agency: KNOCK Inc
My Role: Designer & Art Director

Open Arms of Minnesota opened a second location in St. Paul, complimentary to their Minneapolis building. As they designed their new space to reflect the mission, their volunteers, the communities they are serving, and navigational instructions when in the building, KNOCK partnered to help design a thoughtful approach to highlight 23 branded wall locations with subsequent signage and messaging throughout the building.

The brand guidelines of Open Arms were referenced and followed from a high level, but the look for the new St. Paul location was evolved to be more expressive, typographic, and modular. This new look and feel I developed focuses on using grids and typography throughout the space.
